R+M has a brilliant new look

More employees need more space. The number of company-owned parking spaces for R+M`s personnel did not suffice any more. At the end we could not even offer parking facilities for visitors. But, however we have reacted. As we had the possibility to remove a bigger flower bed in front of our company 12 additional parking spaces were gained. Now, there are only a few steps to be made in order to reach our company without getting wet.

Furthermore, R+M is looking optimistically into the future and that is what we would like to show. Our office building has got a bright coating. No, it is not a flashy and strong red but a gleaming white which welcomes our visitors and employees in a friendly way as soon as they arrive at our company.


Company holiday at Christmas
In the time from 27 to 29 December 2006 our premises in Heiligenhaus and Leopoldshöhe will be closed. We will be back again on 2 January 2007 and are looking forward to receiving your call.

New lathe put into operation at Suttner

In Suttner`s turnery the employees have been doing shift work around the clock on six days a week for more than three years. Due to the above-average quality of turning and milling parts we have been swamped with a brisk demand and reached an average capacity utilisation of nearly 90 %. We are very proud of these results. Suttner has among other things specialized in the manufacture of turning parts made out of stainless steel. These parts are used for finished products such as guns, lances, nozzles and valves which are designed for the cleaning industry. Furthermore, we register an increase in sales as regards the toll-manufacturing. Due to strengthened marketing activities carried out by Suttner we recognize a brisk demand from regional customers being busy in the fields of furniture, automotive as well as in the consumer goods industry. These decisive reasons were sufficient to make an investment concerning the extension of our machine capacity.

We are very proud of our new CNC lathe Hyperturn 665 Plus supplied by EMCO (Austria) which has been producing complex turning parts made out of stainless steel in a precise and quick way since the beginning of October 2006. The CNC lathe consists of four axes as well as of a main and an opposed spindle. Moreover, the machine has a C-axis and two turrets with electrically driven tools. By means of the new CNC lathe Hyperturn 665 Plus it is a pushover to produce ready-made turning parts of up to 65 mm in diameter.

The electrically driven tools enable that different operations such as drilling and milling are brought together in only one working process. We were dependent on additional machines for the further working cycle in the past. As multi chucking is not necessary anymore imprecision are eliminated by transforming. Furthermore, we do not need to put our products in temporary storage any longer.

02 Prices are reduced by us!

In our recent newsletter as well as in the catalog 2006-07 on page 127 we have introduced our new developed foam unit Turn & Clean ST-5800 which is designed for the professional foam cleaning. This module is an extremely rugged product made out of the high-grade materials “Stainless Steel” and “Peek”. As we have evoked considerable interest we are convinced that this product meets our customers` expectations. Nevertheless, we were completely dissatisfied with the expensive unit gross sales prices of € 2,500.00 for the wall version and € 3,786.40 for the edition with trolley which were not at all in line with the market.

But, however we have had great success. New sources of supply for raw materials, improved and long term framework contracts with our present preliminary suppliers as well as the optimization of our whole production process are the results from intensive negotiations during the past few months.

03 New developed guns ST-2620 and ST-2720

Starting today we offer you 2 new guns which are suitable for applications in the agriculture as well as in the chemical and food industry! The patented LTF-technology (Low Trigger Force) which makes up our guns ST-2620 and ST-2720 enables a professional permanent cleaning.

Furthermore, these spray guns are up to four times lighter in comparison with usual guns on the market (580 g). Incredible advantages as against guns customary in the market: 90 % reduced holding force and 40 % reduced trigger force. EIMA in Bologna
As the participation at the EIMA has been a real success for us so far we exhibit our products there from 15 - 19 November 2006. The Bologna Trade Fair Zone will be hosting the new EIMA which, as of this edition, will be International and biennial. EIMA International is born big and will be presenting to the sector and increasingly specialised customers 20,000 models of machinery for agriculture, gardening and the agro industry, manufactured by over 1,800 industries worldwide. The exhibition will be held on an area of 180,000 square metres, with 20 pavilions. Fair reports:

automechanika – The participation at this fair was a very good decision!

In the time from 12 to 17 September 2006 we have been represented with our own stand at the automechanika in Frankfurt for the first time.

The following five product groups were chosen for the above-mentioned fair: high-quality swivels, booms, wash brushes and sprayers for the professional Car Wash sector. In particular our product line „easywash365+“ has aroused the interest of more than 250 visitors at our stand. We have received numerous enquiries and even a few orders were placed with us on the occasion of this fair. This proves significantly that our innovative solutions partially patented and used for the professional Car Wash sector fulfil the requirements of our customers.

We have already made a note of the next automechanika fair in Frankfurt in September 2008. Furthermore, we display our latest products for the Car Wash sector at the international motor vehicle fair „autopromotec“ (Bologna, Italy) in May 2007.

ISSA/Interclean Shanghai – We are looking back on a successful participation.

In the time from 20 to 22 September 2006 we exhibited our products at the ISSA/Interclean in Shanghai, China, for the first time. More than 180 visitors came to our stand and convinced themselves of our high-quality products. The fact that many visitors were already familiar with the name R+M / Suttner was an excellent precondition for successful sales talks.

At the ISSA/Interclean we displayed accessories from our product lines guns, lances, nozzles and unloader for the professional sector with a performance of 250 to 500 bar. The high demand for innovative equipment proves that we offer the right products in China. Especially Chinese customers appreciate products “Made in Germany”. At present first orders are placed with us. On the one hand we are very optimistic that we are in a position to get hold of the Chinese market but on the other hand we are afraid of product piracy and plagiarism. That is why we do not want to judge this project too positively at the moment.

…that Suttner products are tested under extreme conditions

As Suttner is an ISO-certified company it follows strict instructions concerning quality. The in-house quality assurance tests all products under extreme conditions. Suttner has so far invested more than 250,000 euros as regards the quality this year. Nearly the entire range of Suttner products has been completely tested at four additional ultramodern test benches since March 2006.

The spectrum of performance consists of tests from 4 up to 500 bar being executed with volume flows of up to 70l/min at a temperature of up to 140 °C. Apart from endurance tests of products being presented in the current range, Suttner also tests novelties in order to guarantee its applicants the maximum level of safety and functionalism. The extremely low rate of complaints gives evidence for our obligation to invest permanently in the quality of our products
